Tehama Group is an on-campus, student-managed public relations agency of the department of journalism at California State University, Chico. Tehama Group provides students with the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on public relations experience in a supportive and educational environment.
The agency offers a variety of professional communication services to the university, local and regional businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Tehama Group operates the same as a professional agency, with its staff divided into account teams.
Each member serves on one to three client teams depending on the demands of the projects.
The staff is guided by a faculty adviser and student management team, composed of a general manager, alumni and business director, editorial director, art director, online communications director and social media director.
